A perfect example of this can be seen by taking a close look at the corrugated steel walls, as well as the red & white tile floor, you will notice that they don’t look like traditional 2D textures.
So in short the map will run your system slightly harder than other maps that just reuse assets from the base game.
I see, thanks for explaining. =)
Good job
regards
I'm trying to run this on a private dedicated server, but every time I join the game when the map is running, I'm forced into spectate mode and the only thing I can do is fly around in ghost mode. I can't even open the menu, so I have to disconnect via the console.
None of your other maps have this issue, and Foundry works in single-player. It only happens when I try running this on a dedicated server.
Specifically, I'm using a Linux server (Ubuntu 16.04 LTS). Could that be the issue? Sounds kinda dumb, but a lot of issues I'm having seem to stem from there.
Thanks.
So off the top of my head some easy questions would be;
Have you tried setting up a fresh server from scratch?
Have you tried running the server on a windows machine?
Have you tried running the server on a different Linux distro?
Are you running any mutators on your server, if so which ones?
Unfortunately I have very limited knowledge when it comes to the various flavors of Linux out there so I can’t provide any technical help on that front.
However what I can tell you is that Foundry shares the exact same beck-end set up as all my other KF1 ports so I have my doubts that the map is what’s causing the issue.
(Although I could be, and have been wrong before)
yeah i have this issue as well. also it seems all pick ups are AR-15 for me. otherwise map works flawlessly
