I will try do it with Guts and report it if I can do it. However, I have totally no idea how to work on it as I have only 1 month experience on Guts. I think Viz you can do a way better job than mine. If you figure out how to do it, please share with us so that we can fix some other classes too.

There are common issues that some classes will crash during multiplayer/co-op games when transitioning from one area to another. I have do some experiment on when it will happen. I found that the crash happens mostly when there is a skill effect (buff, toggleable skills, pet or etc.) that won't turn off when changing area.

I haven't tested this yet, but I think it depends on how the toggle-able skill is coded.

If the toggleable skill uses an invisible pet to execute the buff, then it might be possible to fix it. This is because pet has a specific parameter that can be set to "kill" their own self whenever the player is warp out to anywhere.

For example, FEP's Mongol Archer has 3 toggleable skills and they uses the invisible pet method.

But there are many ways to create a toggle-able skill, so every mod author has a different way to create a toggle-able skill.
To fix these issue across multiple classes, I might have to rewrite the code for every toggleable skills of each classes and that is... going to be tedious. :[

Thanks for mentioning about this. I had an assumption that the crashes is related to certain skill particles.
It didn't occur to me that persisting pet could potentially causes the game to crash as well.
