In terms of stuff I'd like to see, more choices, with regards to opportunity cost. If I go one route, I lose another, like Foci, which makes you strategise rather than just research everyhting without thinking. Perhaps techs relating to Forts, which tend to be neglected, as well as varitions on rockets, such as a Rocket Interceptor that is capable once you go far enough down the line. More of everything really, though it's amazing as is.

Perhaps some more tech for specialised forms of ammo and bombs which when reasearched give a specific unit an attack increase against certain things, e.g. cluster bombs give strategic and tactical bombers an increase in effectiveness of strategic bombing

im not getting the 2 addidional tree lines in the middle are there and mods that dont work with this mod?

@Meiday if you have another mod enabled that modifies the electronics folder of the research you can have problems. Please let me know what mods you are running, cos I am trying to make additional versions to support other mods. So far I made a compatible version to "road to 56" and "Expanded Technoloy + Industry +Equipement".

Hi, how about V2 and other similar rockets which can reach greater distances and maybe even ICBMs for very late game?

Also, not sure if this is in your remit but i feel nukes are too easy to research and produce. Just feel something is needed here to replicate just how challenging a technology this is to research. Even in 2017 there are only 9 states (i think) who possess nuclear weapons.

Perhaps a tree with regards heavy water as a tech which needs to be researched before nukes and or how uranium is extracted and made suitable for use???

I couldn't find a way to verify this (apart from the production window clearly showing no changes before vs. after), but it seems that the new engineering researches that are supposed to increase/decrease the "build_cost_ic" don't do anything by virtue of trying to affect units/unit categories instead of the equipment itself (via "equipment_bonus" with "instant = yes", the way it works with national ideas). Could you look into it?

It was a exellent feature that was in http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=803325174&searchtext= and will be sad to loose :
motorized AT/Art/and AA .
It need no interface work , or just to copy some dps from it and add some GTX define ( should be copiable too but with some cut ); some defines in unit and some little modifiation in technologies .
So after having reasearched motorized tech you get truck towed ( support / line ) Art , AT and AA regiment who are very nice to integrated in mobile division ( without it is restritive because of limited slots for support companies to have needed logistic maintenance and engenering , medical and all is good to put there).
I speak here only to this little thing and not to reproduce all things in the mod ( that may be reach by use of some other mod ).
So for a LITTLE PRICE you get a GREAT FEATURE that is not in the mods you made
your mod compatible with.
I have done it allready for my self ( integrated them in your mod ) but it will be nice you integrated it so it no need to redone work each time you uppgrade your mod :steamlazy: .

After I use to limit canon number to 24 in all Art / mot Art / SP Art / AT and mot AT and and Sp AT regiment / brigade , inceasing number of of gear required mainly truck ( not for the normal one ) and increasing manpower to 600 . ( but I may assume this again unless you find some interest in the idea ^^ ) .

Edit : in fact i just found a 1.4 mod that is doing it
it is in
Hearts of Iron IV> Workshop > Workshop de John the Gamer>Motorized artillery units.
I ll will study if a bonus given to artillery by your mod are properly applied to those category
of gun.


Edit : in fact it was more nicely done in the upper one ( proper unit otan icon dds in division manager ) , even some work are more serrious in the second ( but it bring to much things that arent usefull as mechanized towed things )
May be better to integrated it in your mod as it is not so much work after all.
And from there the modificatiofn may be correctly applied without having to manage a
special version for compatibilities Unless it is possible to affect the produced item
instead of unit . in fact combat stat exist in produced item ( equipement ) and it is only
a rate applyed in unit , in such case modifiing the equipment dirrectly may assure compatibility without any other work and change nothing to the beheavior of your mod without it or may besome display tips icon , is just to know if the thing is possible ).
In case I will prepare you all the required stuff if you be interested or hope let you see if the
previous change it is possible ) .
