I'm having the same problem. The game crashes as soon as the loading screen says "initializing world".

Same issue, I dont know what it is exactly but hopefully it will be resolved somehow

Me too, it is just stuck on initializing world and will not progress, no matter how long I wait.

I'm getting the same Initializing World problem with this map too.

Lets face it, this map is completely unplayable unless NuclearGhost trims it down. Either that or make a Lite version of the map as a alternative for those of us who can't play the normal one.

at first im need to know why some people have that problem and then make something like lite version

does it has to do with dxlevel or garrys mod settings

guys try validating ur files i had some corrupted stuff now it works

The biggest issue is that no one can find a reason why it just doesnt work the furthest i have made it was sending client info and it just sticks there. And im no super technology understanding guy that knows a solution as soon as the problem arises. Maybe il try dropping graphical settings to practically 0 and see if anything happens. Because its not a computer issue because a i have a friend who has a pc that is absolute trash and he could load into the map just fine so it has to be something to do with the game its self.

EDIT: Reducing settings as low as possible didnt work. :(

I can load the map but it takes an hour to do so and i dont why the other maps work fine this is the only map with the problem.

You wouldnt happen to think a certain part of the computer could cause this such as the graphics card and such or maybe another part? Because my graphics card is very good so i highly doubt that could be the cause of the issue but what the hell do i know.

its the same with me but im not sre if thatll work, it works in single player but it wont work when i try to join my friends, they can run it fine

One of the most common bugs I had with Gmod is it crashing near the time it is done loading. Fix? Delete addons you're not using. Gmod doesn't like having to load in a ton of stuff at once.
If that doesn't work, perhaps the map/parts of Gmod are not compatible with your hardware?
Try updating drivers etc. I dunno.
