We've been getting some input, some slander and some clueless responses to this mod regarding if its just a copycat-mod or if it has been stolen, duplicated etc so I might just clear this up once and for all.

Eternal is not in any way either ACA or Redemeption, it's a complete new mod that is loosely based on Redemption. It is also based on a few other core mods, and it also have our own twist to it. We are also listening very closely to what the community wants(therefore, its important that you leave your ideas and feedback), all together working towards our goal of making this a unique overhaul mod, which one could argue, it already is.

Yes, some structures, items and dinos is quite similar to the dinos in Redemption, but it's not a ripoff or stolen. To make a long story short, Tbjbu2, the main developer of Redemption, gave me the sourcefiles from Redemption to make it into something better. Problem was that he gave me the all-good signal to start working on it, and then went MIA for 5 days. When he returned he could not accept any new changes to this mod unless he was consulted with before, making 5 days of constant work(we're talking about 18 hours per day here) unusable. No developer could ever work under those conditions, so we had a talk, we tried to be reasonable. It did'nt work out. Our agreement was that I would be Teamleader and he would step back, which he now refused. I still offerened him to be an equal to the development of this mod, which he would'nt hear. That led to that he was booted from this project.

Me personally, do not have any hard feelings towards either Tbjbu2 or Redemption. I have even offered him to fix the broken state he left Redemption in so it's playable. Redemption is a great mod, and if fixed, I would even go so far saying that it's the best overhaul mod for ARK at the moment.

Back to Eternal. This is a collaboration between me, Leutiankane and
kotawolf.
We are listening to the community, and all of us have our own background, experiences and specialties. Together, our ideas and knowledge combined could very well make Eternal the 'best' overhaul mod for ARK.

All we ask for is a chance, give your feedback, leave your ideas, report the bugs you encounter. Help us help you enduser. But please do not just come in here and start drama, slander someone or beeing a jerk. Try the mod for yourself, then leave your feedback.

Feel free to discuss this in this thread, but understand that talking about these things in the commentsection will most likely be ignored, or even deleted if inappropriate.
