Kidnappers' hideout major bug!
So at first I gave the kidnappers' hideout a go, and I failed. Then I got on with the game, since it's not my first playthrough.

Now that I've conquered the entire map, my character is level 50+ (imported from a previous aborted playthrough) and I have almost all companions with me, I decided to go after all the bandit hideouts and such, including this one.

So I get in there with my top companions and my almost completely trained CKO troops and start wrecking face. Once we're done, I "respawn" within the hideout map, except... My beautiful troops are now ATTACKING ME.

Hilarious but painful bug: it's really fun to see how strong my people are.

And I went back for a "second try", the same thing happened again. This time I stayed back, letting my companions get beat up by the enemies, so I was able to vanquish them.

Then there was a particularly tough individual that I finally take out. I went to check what that might be, and what kind of equipment it might have, to be so tough to take down even with my Emerald rune bow and Noldor arrows.

It was me. A copy of my own character was dumbly running off the map when I took it out with the bow.

Strange and amazing bug.

This sounds like the same type of Vanilla bug where when you rescue a prisoner and exit the dungeon with them, they start attacking you. This is a vanilla bug though so the Modders can't do much about changing the base game.

As for a copy of yourself, IDK, but I hope your save file is not corrupting. I did see something similar in ACOK mod but not in PoP.

But it isn't, since it starts with me respawning on the enemy team.
