You are gifted that by a god to take down an army and he takes it back after they are destroyed I believe. There are equivalent or even better bows in the game, do a search.

Yeah will keep an eye out for something better.

Since I made enough relations with the Nordor, I just took the Bow of our Nordor Companion until I find something nicer.
