only 1 of ever troop
when ever i beat some one, i only 1 of each of them to capture and 1 of each of their prisoners, i only have to companians, both at the top of party list aswell

It depends on your relationship with the faction that the troops are from. If you have say 100 relation with the bandit faction you will be able to recruit every bandit prisoner from a lord that you defeat
