No river flooding in the latest update

Seems so, I have the same problem. Whole climate Change isn't realy working

about that bug, can you give a bit more details:

are there still floodplains features along rivers but they doesn't trigger flooding, or are there none floodplain at all ?

No flooding at all. Also the sea dosent rise

no floodplain if you mean that no tile is affected by rising water (sry no nativ speaker)

no, I mean the feature. "Floodplain" in the game is a "feature" placed on a tile, like "Forest", "Jungle", "Oasis", ...

"Flooding" is when a floodplain feature near a river gets flooded.

what I need to know is if there are no Floodplain on the map or if they don't flood.

there is no grassland or normal floodplain there is just desert floodplain

++adding to this as I am curious. I haven't played in months due to the fact i love the huge maps, but this doesn't work with Gathering Storm. I decided to play and see if anything is changed. I currently am in Phase 4 of Climate Change, 40% of Polar Ice Caps lost, there is a 0% chance of river flooding, and it claims the sea levels have risen 2 meters but hasn't. I am definitely NOT complaining about this, since the mod is working on Enormous, but just curious if this was an intentional change.

there was definitively an issue with Lowland (sea level flooding), that will be fixed in next update.

IDK if it will also fix river flooding (and don't have the time to test it), but it's possible both were linked.

I say keep the flooding out :D. But also I can't build flood barriers. Not worried though. Any ideas why when i launch the first satellite i crash on the dead sea reveal?

The issue seems to be linked to the YNAMP_Expansion2 criteria. I have no idea why it would stop working, other than Firaxis broke something in their own criteria. Maybe we can't check criteria by GameCoreInUse any more, but have to use RuleSetInUse instead?

I was able to get the floodplain placement and coastal lowlands options working again by deleting their criteria in the YNAMP modinfo file. Search for this:

<UpdateDatabase id="YNAMP_SETTING" criteria="YNAMP_Expansion2">
<Properties>
<LoadOrder>10</LoadOrder>
</Properties>
<File>Configuration/ConfigXP2.xml</File>
<File>Configuration/ConfigXP2.sql</File>
</UpdateDatabase>

Delete this --> criteria="YNAMP_Expansion2"

I've pushed the fix 2 days ago on github, by changing

<Criteria id="YNAMP_Expansion2">
to
<Criteria id="Expansion2">

IDK why, _ is still used in some Criteria by Firaxis

Yes, I've noticed this as well. It seems that the "floodplain" tiles no longer spawn at all on the TSL maps. Did Firaxis disable all flooding? Because I've noticed I can't change if the flooding "follows inland" or "world generated"
