But I'm not sure how much work it would require, if it would cause desync on load (I've already set a MP-compatible seed for randomization, but it's not tested), or if SeelingCat even want (and have the time) to have a look.
(and BTW that's exactly why I've was always complaining about the lack of road map or simple communication of what's to come from Firaxis)
From nearly the moment I started playing Civ6, I have primarily played multiplayer with friends, always all random civs, and man are we tired of having several of the same leaders (Pedro, Eleanor, Tomyris, Dido, and a couple of others) show up in game after game. We each have all of the new content (enabled), yet we never seem to get the new civs.
Every so often, I look for a way to limit which leaders are available for Random selection, and I've seen quite a number of people wishing it were possible over the past couple of years. I just assumed it wasn't; but with the wonder picker now being a thing, the code to mirror that with random leaders seems like it is already mostly pre-written.
Much more than being able to select wonders, players have been wanting to limit which leaders are randomly assigned. Seems like the same amount of coding, for a much more useful version of the same feature. It makes me wonder which fora/social media platforms actually get attention from the devs.
