Please go into your Documents folder. Inside it, there will be a My Games folder, then a Binding of Isaac AB+ Folder. Inside it, there should be a file called options.ini. Open it with a text editor, and change the option EnableMods to 0, like this
EnableMods=0
Please reply when you do this, I won't be able to help otherwise.
- Open the game then restart the game if you install a mod
- Don't uninstall mods if you have a modded character run happening
