Ive managed to gather 2 of these constructors early game but I cant tell if they are producing alloy or not. According to the ship load out, they should each produce 12 alloy from 6 fabricator components but Im not sure at what frequency or at all. It clearly hasnt increased my monthly alloy production, or at least my read out.

Anyone know if they actually produce alloy out of thin air or are they just a nice upgrade to the basic constructor early game?
