just throwing out ideas, i nkow some are a bit crazy but if you could pull it off then these would become a must have
heavy armor tip for penitration
use the penitration tip with a sensor and timer to make a bunker buster
a gravity affected mini warhead that can be packed (several at a time) into a section to make a single missile carpet bomb
mini decoys that can be packed in the same way as the mini warheads.

Will do a youtube video when I have some spare time. Easiest way for now is by using the pylon mounted on a piston and push it up through the loader silo. Make sure the locking silo has autolock off otherwise it will lock the missile and then make the whole thing explode as the piston keeps pushing. when the missile is in place you can lock the gear. You should also be able to build the missile in the tube if you have it on a subgrid.

Will make a heavy tip, any design ideas? Should the tip itself be a warhead or not?

I like these ideas but because of how Space engineers work this is not possible. You can only have one type of definition for each block. So warhead OR artificial gravity OR merge. So this would force you to have three separate blocks for each carpetbomb.

Just a Idea how about a Missile Silo Projector :?
It would spare the time of repairing stuff everytime the Piston'(s)
EXPLODE !
Or the Loading car loses it wheels :(

Been thinking about that, problem is that you can not project inside another block that is on the same grid. Reason for that is that it would conflict of the gridcoordinates. That is why the projector has to be on a subgrid. Not sure how to solve this but if you have any ideas I am open for it! Either that or wait for SE to fix the merge problem

You should make a sabot high explosive round. The tip is long, sharp and hardened, with the rear containing HE. The round pierces metal armor and delves into the soft part of a target before exploding. I also suggest a cluster munition if possible. Carpet an area with dozens of small explosions for anti-personnel purposes.

I love this mod but Iv spent an hour or two trying to figure out how to not only load but release the missiles both in silo form and pylon form. Can you upload a test world which has some examples so people can see how their put togeather and made? I figured this may be easier and less time consuming for you, and more educational for us then say a youtube video.

I have now uploaded a blueprint with the silos from the youtube video and also all blocks with construction stages. Thank you for the suggestion

Dying to use these for a "Strike suit Zero" style ship I'm trying to construct. Any ideas on how to build a guided/seeking missile model so they'll chase enemy targets? I'm having troubles using the programmable block to make it do so.

@Hotshot it is a bit tricky as it requires vector algebra to solve for the angles between to points in 3D space. I believe I saw that someone had made a script for it on workshop that you might be able to find. I've made one aswell but currently it is really hard to use. Also using 4 RCS thrusters in each direction will allow for better turning as it will reduce the side drift when turning. Good luck :)

Thanks for you efforts on this Sandflakes, looking forward to a usable 'pylon' (merge block) to hang missiles on.

FEATURE REQUEST - Could we have some less fancy, more military looking blocks please?
