Setting that I don't understand
Hello !

First, a big thanks for this awesome mod ! It is really useful and helpful, especially for building always bigger ! I can't play without it anymore :steamhappy:


But, I just have some questions about one setting that I don't understand : the "Help others" feature.
(I'm not sure about the exact words in english of this setting, because I use the french version)

- I don't really know what it really does, and what it changes about the way that the BaR works.
- Is it better to use it when I have multiple BaR systems working together ?
- And do I need to disable this setting for only one of them, and enable for all others ? (Like cooperative mode for assemblers).

Any help would be appreciated :steamhappy:

I don't play on co-op or muti player but I think that setting will repair grids other then your faction. Not real sure, I have never used it my self. I do know that if you have more them one BaR block they will all happly work on any grid in range that you own.

Oh really ! I hadn't even thought about this kind of setting, but rather something between all BaRs of one player ^^

Yep, I know it too, thanks :) And this is why I asked this question, since the "Help others" setting doesn't seem to change anything in BaRs' way of work (or I didn't see ^^)

the help others setting lets the bar of one grid help the bar of another grid of an allied player as long as the target is in reach.

Just to confirm yes the above decription is right.

But please take a look at the good old vanilla welder, as this option is common to all welders :steammocking:

And for vanilla welders, I almost never used them ^^ So, I don't remember any settings like that ! But thanks for the tip !
