Large Factory can't detect small grid in build mode
A large factory can repairs both kind of grid but doesn't detect small grid projection.

Setup: Alien world with BaR mod only in creative.

1 large grid plateform with 1 BaR and 1 assembly.
The BqR is set to fly mode.

case 1:
1 large projector connected directly to the platform with one projector : the BP is constructed.

case 2:
1 large grid with a projector connected to the building plateform with landing gears: BP is constructed.

case 3:
1 large grid not connected to the build platform: BP is constructed.


Same setting with small grid as target.

case 1: nothing detected.
case 2: nothing detected.
case 3: nothing detected.

Additional information:

All cases got repaired when i destroyed some support elements.

I believe that the Small Grid B&R was intended for repairing your fighters, etc and not be used for mass production.
Correct me if I'm wrong, Dummy08.

Sorry I haven't noticed this discussion. There should be no difference between the BaR's either small or large version could repair, build, grind large/small blocks, also if they are projected.
This is one of my standard test scenarios and should not a be general issue.
What I can't read from the description is have you tried to project a small grid with a large projector? This won't be possible by game design itself.
Otherwise I could only guess, it might be a 'simple' ownership issue. If the subgrid with the projector is not owned by you, you could either switch on 'Help others' or transfer ownership.
