I do think it's possible if you do it the other way around. Build a "grinder" ship with a BaR on it, and set it to grind enemy ship. Land your grinder on it, and it should grind up the whole thing.

Should , 'should' be a matter of setting the Janitor to 'Grind Enemy Blocks' also set mode to 'Fly' then you won't have to be in contact with the ship you want to destroy / Hack / Immobilise

this was a few months ago, i did not expect a awnser. But yeah i figured it out.

A good mod that i like is the Nano bots.

Use the color option . Any painted that color will be ground down .Hot pink is a favorite of many as most don't use it .

Did find a easier way for the Nano bots, All i got to do is set the ship as nuteral and let them grind it

yea I just set faction to "nobody" and that mostly does it.
