Federated Malay States a federation of four protected states. It includes Selangor, Perak, Negeri Sembilan and Pahang

Unfederated Malay States are the five British protected states which have not join the FMS.
It includes Johor, Kelantan, Kedah and Terengganu

So, would this mean that Malaya can be broken up in to smaller colonies? Because I'd probably do that, break 'em up in to smaller colonies and manage them individually as Britain.

Malaya will break up into Straits Settlements, Federated Malay States and Unfederated Malay States from the beginning
Unfederated Malay States include 4 protectorates
These colonies can finally be merged into one nation or one colony
Malayan Union(the merged colonies)
Federation of Malaya(an independent nation or dominion)

Straits Settlements will directly manage these colonies rather than UK

One big question; will Malaya and Hong Kong have their own Tech trees and coloured Portraits? Like using the images from the British tech tree for Aircraft and such?

Got to ask; will there be a Burma or Ceylon mod? It could be argued that its part of Asia and the Pacific, and Burma played a very important role in British Intervention in China.

I will do Burma, but may not do Ceylon.
