Italy had a huge communist party and might have gone communist had the fascists not siezed power. Having a beefy communist tree would be more likely than a democracy tree. For the fascist path there could be stuff like betraying Germany and forming a medditeranean faction

Novus Imperium Romanum buff and filling out of tree allowing more options, and Major rewards. However industrial mil bonuses should only be allowed if you meet hard to reach targets. War with turkey tree for all ideologies would also be good (post ww1 settlement did provide for this)

Although the thread is a bit old, a viable democracy tree would probably be benefical for freedoms sake in playstyle, as the tree gives no reason to do so. I agree with Duck, however people may wish to play a demo italy without having an entire focus tree locked for them.

Please add the democratic focus to italy

Democratic countries, like the UK/Franceand Germay should become the option after they capitulate Italy to 30 or 40% to establish a democratic regime which declares War on the fascist Italy
