You can find Centensian ruins as random encounters on any planet, except for Ocean and ocean-like (toxic, lava etc) planets. Most of the ruins consist of one or more large, monolithic pillars or cubes, and all of the ruins are built using grayish materials with a slight pinkish hue to them. There a picture of one of the ruins in the screenshots gallery, which should give you a good idea of what the ruins look like.

One more question: Where do I find "Superb Kavanite Plates"?

Superb Kavanite Plates are crafted at the Nomada Furnace (the upgraded version of the Avikan Stone Furnace). If you play as an Avikan or Droden, you'll have all of the recipes unlocked by default. If you play as a different race, you'll need to purchase an Avikan Crafting Guide from the Drifter's Emporium in order to unlock the recipes.
