Yeah the exact same thing happend to me just now

I do not get and have not got this error, nor have a received an error log from someone who has it, so I can't fix it until I know what's going on. If you could send me the file at C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+\log.txt it would help me debug this issue.

How do i give you my logs so you can figure out a fix? if i copy/paste in here its over the character limit.

i had that happen you must have deleted the scripts folder in the resources

It looks like, similar to other users, that you're missing the main files that allow modding to work. From my understanding, this has been consistent with people who have pirated the game. The files you're missing are in \resources\scripts\

If you've pirated the game then sorry, I can't help you. If you need those files back you can try to verify the integrity of the game cache.

I deleted all local content and reinstalled, then downloaded the mod and it worked. Guess with all my Afterbirth modding, I must've deleted some files that seemed meaningless at the time. Thanks for working through this for me!

I have Testet Mai and she is great but today i have notice after 1 room the tears drops all time down on the ground under Mai and dont become the hovertears.
And first time the Tears was working like Spectral + Percing tears but totay its only Spectral.

Is there a way to fix that? i dont have any other Mod active.

THANK YOU! My problem was that I unpacked all the files to try to mess around with a few things myself, then deleted every folder in /resources except /packed when I was done. I didn't realize /scripts also needed to be left alone, and the game worked fine without it modless.

this is happening to me but i have all the proper files in /scripts there is just no tears.

It's pretty late for me so I'm just going to sleep and hope that someone replies to me during the night but I have an issue. I really like Mei, I played her character and beat Blue Baby. I stoped playing Isaac, and like 5 hours later, she's broken in a bad way. She doesn't have tears, and they're not invisible, they just don't exist, so I can't even damage enemies. So I uninstalled all the mods I had, including Mei, deleted all my content for that game and backed it up, and it still won't work. All the other mods I had worked perfectly, but Mei just broke. So here is everything I've done in a summary that didn,t work:
I tried deleting all mods, deleting all of the games content, verified the autenticity, deleted everything in the resource folder except for packed, and even tried only using this mod. I even deleted all the content and all the mods together to make sure that I had completely fresh files. I didn't even change anything, she just stoped working. Help :(

There's a log file called log.txt in a folder like "C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+\" on Windows. If you can upload that to pastebin and link it here after starting a run with Mei, I may be able to help you fix your problem.
