Suggestions for Mod
Might as well repost this on here just when this gets lost in the comment section.

Alot of changes are gonna happen with the next update/DLC. Details are coming but me and Charlie are working on the changes right now. Lets just say that these changes will take awhile to apply to the mod with the game but our goal is to get it out in less then a month after the DLC is put into place. I will share two of the changes.

- No more populist party! Good idea on paper, but the effectiveness wasn't ideal.
- Changes to USA Focus Tree to reflect on it's Southern Border(s) to where the USA can form a faction with the CSA or go down a road of Southern Conquest that will lead the the Second War of Northern Aggression.

Work on the mod will start when the update comes out along with the DLC. Right now we are brainstorming so if you have any suggestions or stuff you wish to be implemented, feel free to put them in comment or in the Death and Dishonor Update and Suggestions.

1:Maybe give the confederacy an opportunity to aquire chromiun and/or rubber to make the "army of movement" branch a more viable option

2:If both the confederacy and the union are in the allies then have an event where the two nations give eachother a hand in industrial development

3:If the confederacy is not part of someone elses faction and revives the golden circle then have the latin american nations you influence get an event where they can choose to join your faction.In the current version they have a chance of simply joining one of the three starting factions instead

@Bananabus

1. Decent source of chromiun in Cuba. As for Rubber, possible put in something like what the US have with the focus that Kentucky has.

2. We were gonna do and deal with what was offered in the liscencing thing that comes with the DLC in that regard. Maybe trade some units. As for actual industrial development, can see us applying a national idea to that.

3. Thats actually not a bad idea if the CSA choices not to go to war. with nations in the Caribbean and the USA doesn't go down the path of forging an faction and rather go to war with the CSA.

I would suggest making Huey Long the Leader of the Fascist party so he can stay relevant, and the current leader who's name escapes me the minister to promote fascism. The fascist flag could be better, too.

@Panzerchicken84 Good mod even though the focus tree is short. Good effort and I had quite a bit of fun. But you really need to expand the industrial tree. Even after hours and hours of build up I barely have the industrial power to challenge the U.S or even Canada. I know the C.S.A is supposed to be weak but even after reaching streamlined production and max construction with maxing out all building slots with military factories Its still a massive struggle. I think you should add a wargoal focus branch for places like Mexico,Haiti,Dominican Republic,and Cuba, and then add industrial focuses to enslave the natives to find resources and work in factories if your facist but you can't get manpower or maybe you have a list of decisions to start forced labor but if you do too many slavery decisions there will be a revolt. Or maybe just a resource and industry tree for the provinces. I also think the CSA should have a Baja California and Sonora claim.

@Moses
You bring up some good points to be honest. I tried yesterday to go mad rush down the right most tree to go and take mexico for the land let alone industry but AI US went all out Pax America. So I can where you are talking about if you went with taking on America early on due to lack of industry. There's one or two ways to this this, play your cards right to overtake the US or do a coup against the US from the get go, which is a shot in the dark for that. Right now with how the Man the Guns are looking, we might not need this mod anymore if a CSA is bought into play with the next DLC/Expansion.

If the mod continues which i hope I hope they make the focus tree way more huge then the current one also rework the American Focuses or a added tree in dealing with the CSA.

I see alot of power in this mod if the CSA won USA wouldnt likely bought Alaska so you could do a simple give USSR Alaska or Have a White Army Remant in there.

things like that could make this mod amazing a White Russian Focus Tree to plan a Canada like Kaiserreich reclaimation of the USSR and maybe demanding Canadas land.

This is a cool mod. The CSA focus tree(as pointed out before) could use a little work, but its fine as is. Some things I'd like to see however is some lore. I'll use Harry Turtledove's 'Southern Victory' book series as an example. If you haven't read these books, the gist is, as the name suggests, is about the south winning the war, and gaining independence. In the books, the CSA gets help from the UK and France, and the US is forced to recognize the CSA. This makes the US people very bitter towards the UK, France, and the CSA. This led to the USA being a central power in WW1, because Germany was a natural ally. Stepping away from the books, in this mod the civil war was a stalemate, but I don't think the U.S. will like it's new neighbor(as you describe in the description, the two are cold in terms of relations). I think the U.S. should have a few buffs/debuffs, like how Germany has the national spirit 'Bitter Loser'. Maybe give the U.S. a part of the focus tree dedicated to revenge on the South. Another thing that happened in the books is the purchase of Cuba and some Mexican states by the CSA. This mod doesn't really reflect how the CSA interracted with it's neighbors. I think that the US would have attacked the CSA again sometime after the war to reclaim the south. My point is that the lore and history of this world doesn't really have enough in it. I get this mod is very different to Harry Turtledove's universe, but I'd love to see some extra story elements. It just feels like the CSA was just plopped into existence in 1936 and the other countries act like it isnt there.
