Crash at launch
Hello,

I used to have this mode some years ago, I really like it.

I wanted to play again today, but as soon as the mod is activated, the game crashes at launch after displaying a black sceen and a text saying "updating External Item Description" in the game's font.

As soon as I disable the mod, the game works.

I have checked everything, uninstalled it properly, re-subscribed to it, but it's the same thing all the time.

can you look into the crash log files and tell us what error message you see at the very bottom in the last few lines in the file ?
those files can be found in the following folder:
C:\Users\[YourUsername]\Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Repentance\
The crash files are ".txt" files that follow the pattern: "isaacv[VERSION]-[CRASH_DATE]-[CRASH-TIME]-[NUMBERS]-[NUMBERS].txt".
Example: "isaacv1.7.9b.J835-20230119-174342-25560-10688.txt"
