How many people would 100% complete hard game like this game without any description of trinkets, and other things? Few? If any. One thing is skip descriptions I you have just small game with limited features and few hundreds items, other thing is do that with massive content like in Repentance.
I couldnt believe when I find out that even remake missing this. If there wasnt this mod I would probably instantly refund, usable descriptions was one of them most basic things I expected from remake. Its a shame of devs.
And the game became so huge, that it's unfeasible to play it by trial and error, because in the end you won't be able to remember it all. In original Isaac you could, but it's so small compared to the behemoth of the current version of Rebirth.
