Thanks for finding that those don't work, it's really helped me out.
An interesting reason here; those mods did update their item lists to include the 3 new items... but there's another new item! The new passive Book of Belial for Judas's Birthright is slotted into item ID 59 (which was formerly unused), and that item not existing in those mods was causing issues.
So, my assumption that "everything should be OK if we can detect Mom's Ring" was wrong!

Things should be back to normal on EID's side the next time it updates; but these other mods that are modifying items.xml are gonna cause problems for a lot of people, unfortunately.
