people drinking water/filling water from water tub instead of primitive well

people are ignoring the primitive well right next to the water tub and they are drinking water/filling bottles from water tub
why is that
people are getting diarrhea and ♥♥♥♥ from time to time because of this

thats how it works, they have to pull water from the well and put it in the tubs, then they use the tubs, and they will get sick from time to time because they are tribal and drinking untreated water from the ground
