i can show the exact amount of water each thing uses in the description, and in the inspect tab, and i could add a total pumping capacity + total storage value to the inspect string instead of just per tower.
sprinklers use 1000L in total when they spray each morning which takes an hour, the towers show how many liters you can pump per day so its a pretty simple 1000L per day per sprinkler, then other water usage on top of that which is very variable depending on a bunch of things like how often they eat, how hot it is, diseases, the kind of work they are doing and so on, the capacity on the tanks is pretty huge so mainly you just need to make sure its going up not down.
and i added big powered water pumping stations in the next patch which have a wider radius and pump twice as fast so you can stash a few towers inside your base and fill them up easier, or go nuts with sprinklers
?"
cheers though I cant wait to try this mod out in my next game :)
Though I was also thinking of it from a 'there can be some pretty wildly changing / instant power draws' too depending on what mods and power using facilities you've got.
Although the average that TallShipSailor mentioned would be more than enough if that was doable, even if it was 'Yesterdays net'.
But even if it was just the basic 'total connected income' so I didn't have to check every individual tower, though I guess your water pump thing will probably fix that issue with having less points of water intake around you base.
i have now added loads of extra numbers to the inspect strings in the next build, for water, sewage, heating and cooling, total capacity total storage total heating units all of that good stuff, basically recoded the entire pipe net system at this point
Thank you muchly!
