colonists not using basin
The colonists are not using the cool basins I just crafted for them, they are still using the old filthy wooden bucket that is all the way at the far end of the map.
This is not a plumbing problem because the showers next to the basins are working just fine.
The kitchen sink seems to have the same problem.

Also, my first basin worked just fine a few (real life) days ago so i'm not sure what I am doing wrong...no new mods have been added since...

Thanks for your help, your mod alone added A LOT of fun in my gaming ^^

hmm other than it being reserved by someone wanting to have a drink im not sure, they should always go for the nearest sink to wash their hands, it works in my test colony

No one ever use them...never

I hope it will solve on version 1 ^^

you must not have something setup right then because everyone testing it has working basins, maybe missing pipe, blocked path, not enough to go around, something has to be off

When I started the game tonight the basins were working...si I guess it was a glittch?
I saw no one using the kitchen sink though...
Anyway the basins are working, sorry for the trouble

Colonists don't seem to be using basins for me either.

I've uploaded an example save (for b19) here:

(Sorry for crappy file host. It's "testsave.zip".)

It only uses this mod and no others.

The colonist can be instructed to use the toilet, but not the sink.
The colonist eventually just washes in the ocean, and not the sink.

The issue stayed even after quiting the game and reloading the save.

There is only one colonist, so reservedness shouldn't be an issue.

not a bug, colonists only use sinks to wash their hands after using a toilet, use showers or baths to actually wash, i feel like im the only person in the world that doesn't try to have a bath in the sink lol

That would explain it. Thanks.

I had just kind of assumed that the bucket was just for washing their hands too, and that a sink was thus a better version of the bucket.
