If you have a pawn that already has health conditions, and they get a new health condition, then if the combined stat offsets are strong enough then the very early stages of the new condition will be enough to kill the pawn, its the same for any hediffs in the game like food poisoning, flu, plague, infections, overdoses and so on, any combinations of conditions can kill pawns, even minor ones. So pawns are meant to die easily and often so they can then be replaced in events, that's by design and part of the "story generator" aspect of the game
Except for it's not, it's literally random. And say good by to travelling on the world map, because how can your caravan wash it's self while travelling? O that's right, they can't. I've lost WAY too many caravans BECAUSE of this BS mechanic.
>so you mean to say that you want the more serious health conditions in the base game to be removed too?
And EVERY other health condition can at LEAST be cured, but not dysentery because it kills you RIGHT when it hits, there's NOTHING you can do about it. I'm asking you to remove it or NOT have it an instakill can't do anything about mechanic.
>I think this may be a case of misunderstanding the health mechanics in rimworld.
IT"S NOT. It's LITERALLY random when you get it. You can have a healthy pawn, and when they are hit with dysentery they instantly die. It's a BS mechanic that sucks the fun out of this game. Please remove it or CHANGE it so it can be cured.
>So pawns are meant to die easily
I agree, but EVERYTHING that's meant to easily kill can be avoided or cured, but not dysentery.
Anyways, I'll not be using your mod until you remove dysentery or make it NOT an instakill BS mechanic.
