Adding some resources to the States Ruperts Land owns would be an effective way to make them into more of the trading nation as they historically were.
Aside from all of that, the flags of the British North American colonies was just the Union Jack. I've made a few so they would be easier to identify. Ruperts land was the only Colony to have their own flag at the time.
