If that's really not it, then can you make a video showing your settings in the "firearms" section of the Turok+ menu, and firing in both semi-auto and full auto/burst fire modes? Because I'm kind of at a loss for what could possibly be happening.
Right click the game in your library, or select it and click the gear icon on the right, then manage -> browse local files. They're small, so you can just send me the whole "saves" folder.
