Permission to upload in a modpack?
I help out a community with their servers and I'm also in charge of making things easy for players to a certain extent. To help with this I made a mod that is a compilation of mods. This is due to an issue documented here:

So because of this issue will I be able to add your mod to my mod pack. I'll include links to crediting you and anything else that's needed.

Hey SekiGamer,

Never heard of that issue before and the threads you linked are rather old. Are you sure there is no other solution to this problem?

If you have a solution for this problem I would love to hear it becuase my compilate mod is really a ton of work since I have to make sure it's updated.

#2 No that dude had issues with server performance. Not with the server sending too much info to the launcher.

#3 Like I said, I haven't ever heard of this issue before, so sadly no I don't.

To be clear I'm not a fan of any reuploads on platforms where there is a "official" version available. Dispite that I get your problem... so go ahead and reupload it in a modpack, but keep it up to date!

Hey, I just want to update you on something that I just learned. Apparently, according to steam workshop rules, even with a mod authors permissions, you are not allowed to reupload their content.
