I think that was done intentionally. WHat you could do is spawn it in a pen of some sort and give the winners the tools to tame it themselves, maybe while you keep it aggroed on you or you could keep it stunned maybe.

damn, yeah problem is some things just dont tame easy

i think , only the player that knocks out said dino can tame it , players from other tribes can feed it but it will end up tamed to the tribe that tranqed it .

Easiest way
Use Admin Manager
Force yourself into the players tribe
Spawn the dino for them
Then force yourself back to your tribe.
Takes less then 2 minutes

Didnt read that hes an admin? Its a pain in the ass. Pulled a stuck dino under map out and no easy way to claim it back. smh. old post, but whatever.

At the point you realised it was an old thread.. like over a year old... thats the point you just delete what you've written.
If you knew it was an old post before you even started writing well thats even worse.
Expecially when you've come head strong into a conversation thats simply over.
