I will not judge your choice. I will only say this: If your mod is put behind a paywall, that would be the final nail in the coffin for Skyrim modding. Some of the best mods require this software, and if this mod is put behind a paywall, they will suffer. It is with this reason that I urge you to either change your mind, or at the very least set the minimum price to be $0.00 so that you can still make a profit off of donations, and still allow those perfectly good mods prosper.
