There are numerous threads on how to overcome the USSR as Germany. I myself was struggling before I read them over, now I am on track to defeat Stalin in Feb 1942.

What type of divisions are you using! I use 30width combined arms divisions and I am easily able to defeat the ussr in 1941. Try putting assult guns in your infantry divisions along with heavy anti air. Goodluck and dont forget to use mot logistic companies and do all you can to lower your supply consumption.

all of the above (AND WAY MORE) is in the thread I mentioned. i mean a dev that plays often literally going in on his tips/tricks to getting that W. do take up my suggestion please!

Easy for me. Defeated USSR 2x as Germany now on normal. Even defended against Germany 2x now successfully too, all I can say is to keep those juicy encirclements going when you attack

turning down gamespeed is also a really good idea

- Try to put motorcycle recon on all panzer divisions, as well as armored cars with updated techs. That really helps with speed.
-build infra on the border before the invasion,
Repair infra as soon as possible once you invade
- build tons of fighters, as well as some strat bombers to destroy their aiifields
- choose ministers that increase speed for your divisions
- encircle fortified cities, dont attack them head on
- reduce game speed
- Try to go for small to medium -sized encirclements.If you make pockets too large, it takes too long to clean up, and gives them time to recover.
- once you get the chance, switch motorized art for sp art and motorized at for tank destroyers on all panzer divisions. This will help massively with their speed.

I usually attack by may 1941, and finish the campaign by April 1942. If you can get moscow before winter 1941, you should be good. no need to capitulate them on first year.

Keep in mind that in order to win u need to take moscow until nov. 29 in order not to let them start winter attack. U can make some heavy art. devisions and help finland take leningrad from the start. I made 6 heavy art dev. (2 for leningrad 2 for moscow 2 for Ukrainian cities) (8 heavy art templ.)
