Atttaching to the IK Inklings/Octolings
As FissionMetroid101 said in the description, dragging the IK Inkling/Octoling over the clothes wouldn't work. However, there is a way to center the clothes and then attach the joints individually.

Drag "bip_spine_0" of the IK Inkling/Octoling to "bip_joint_root" of the clothing, and then Zero it. Then drag the joints from the IK Inkling/Octoling to the clothing as necessary. Some will have the same naming convention, but for others, here's a list.

IK Inkling/Octoling --> Clothes
"bip_pelvis" --> "bip_hip"
"bip_spine_3" --> "bip_chest"
"bip_collar_(L or R)" --> "bip_shoulder_(L or R)"
"bip_upperArm_(L or R)" --> "bip_arm1_(L or R)"
"bip_lowerArm_(L or R)" --> "bip_arm2_(L or R)"

Edit: Yes. I might be the biggest noob to ever use SFM. Sorry 'bout that.

I got it. you need to be in the animation editor and have the clip you want selected!
