Report of the reupload with backdoor: 1449830575

The addon here is not backdoored. For reference I show you my report message to a variant that was reuploaded with a backdoor.

Here is the message of my report:

Hello,

This addon is a copy of mine ( https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=793317003 ), containing a powerful backdoor. It allows someone to send commands (net messages) that alter data files of the administrative tool ULX.

Thank you for banning the owner of this addon from the Steam community.

I am not going to report it with DMCA because my code is tiny though.

Actually I have misread the code at first, it can do worse.
- A timer is responsible for altering ULX data files.
- A user (the pirate) can send a net message that can run Lua code directly.

Unfortunately the moderators are not so responsive... That kind of bores me to see that reports with proof and explaination are not even taken into account.
By the way the author of that backdoored addon is not stupid and removes our comments.
I do not know what we can do, besides reporting the addon.

It's been years that the falsified copy has been taken down. There is nothing to expect any more. I have not written down the pirate's Steam id, so nothing will move forward.
But it's still funny that there are news with participants asking for news. 🤣🤣
