"Limbo" Bug.
Roller configuration: A grow puller is set in the middle of the grow zone.
Grow Puller > Assembly > (Multiple Turns) > Underground roller (Properly functioning Refer to Bug desc) > "Freezer" Stockpile

Bug Description:

The roller right after the grow puller has a "Limbo" effect on a random selection of rice (The item being harvested) practically all rice moves along the roller normally and is successfully being deposited at the Freezer. Though a random amount of rice is getting stuck right at the beginning. Unselectable and forbidden. The rice flickers.

Workaround: Turning power off on the Grow Puller has the limboed rice proceed down the line.

I know this post is old, but the problem is happening because your belt is moving through the grow zone. Whenever the rice moves forward, the grow puller is seeing it and placing it at the start of the line again. You can fix this by shrinking the grow zone so that it does not include any of the roller.
