Sticks and Stones
Stats?
I have an idea for the stats on this weapon:

+25% weapon switch
on a successful hit: -25% move speed on enemies for 10 seconds
can hold up to 3 stones
collecting an ammo box recharges 1 stone instantly

-25% damage
-20% recharge rate
when a target is hit, the stone cannot be retreived
cannot stun enemies

Any ideas?

Well this is like the Sandman so why not a more dangerous ball

Pros
*If headshot by ball target takes 55 - 110 damage (excluding crits)
*Ball stuns enemys for 15 secs

Cons
*-15% health on user
*+30% vunerability to melee and fire
*takes 15 seconds longer to recharge ball

I'm thinking something like Sandman meets Wrap Assassin halfway with a twist:

+ Hit with Rock inflicts Stun & Bleed, but for a shorter duration than the Sandman's Ball/Wrap Assassin's Bauble do.
+ Rock Damage is equal to Sandman's Ball
+ Faster Rock Recharge
- Slightly Smaller Health Penalty than the Sandman
- Slightly Smaller Damage Penalty for the Stick than the Wrap Assassin
- Marked for Death while Rock is Recharging
-20% bat damage
+15% ball damage
+20% ball damage
+ can hold 2 rocks
+ 25% faster recharge time
+ on hit from rock well make bleed and a mini stun with a 9 seccond marked for death
+ 1 rock instantly recharge from a mini ammo box
+ 2 rocks instantly recharge from a meadium box
- stick breaks if used on heavy and soilder
- stick breaks if gotten a crit or a kill
- 29% damage
- primaly weapon well have -10% capasity
- scout cant be overheald or uberd
+20% damage
launches ball that does 25 damage on hit

on miss: hit yourself stupid
I love this concept! It's clever, but I also think that there is a chance to make this a genuinely great weapon, but everything thus far has been a little sketchy tbh so here's my suggestion.

+200% max misc. ammo (aka balls erm..stones and that'd be max of 3 stones)
-40% damage melee damage
-10-20% misc. damage
(also a slightly smaller melee range)
STATS

50% less damage
25% faster melee speed
10% faster weapon switch
rock does 15 damage and does bonk for 3 seconds
10% chance to make victim bleed for 3 seconds.

tbh Valve would add this as a reskin if they ever did.

well! because its just a stick and not an aluminium bat it has a 75% chance to break if you crit or minicrit. because you are packing so much force that your stick cannot hold.
but on the bright side. because it also has a rock the rock would do some damage
anyway. it would do 45 damage and stun for the normal sandman duration.
but if you somehow land a headshot it will do crit damage (135 to be precise) and stun the target for 10 seconds. (dont try this. this is tf2. but if you got a stone thrown at your face at a fast speed your skull would be CRACKED)
i think this seems fair. because the stick has a chance to break off it seems to give you a HUGE downside in melee combat. but if you score a headshot then you can finish them off (excluding heavies)

welp. im ♥♥♥♥♥♥. i just give up.
Pros
  • +70% ball damage
  • Ball marks enemy for death for 4 seconds
Cons
  • -40% melee damage
  • No random critical hits
also add Jungle to its tags, just to make sure

I'm assuming there's no stunning ability for the stone.
Not bad as a start, but it could use some more positives to make it more relevant.
