An idea for the Modder
Just an idea you don't need to take it, but why not make the Old Republic era a seperate mod from this one. Basically, make it a standalone from the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War era's.

Fairly positive that LL has had this in mind, but it will be a project that comes much later down the line.

I 3rd this. The mod was originally set in the Old Republic era so it's pretty disappointing to me that it's just disappeared. I really don't care much for the Clone Wars.

Why not have the static galaxy start factions with their canon territory and planets instead of just a single system?
