Vests and the EOD suit from JIDS lower movement speed when worn. This movement speed modification overrides the movement speed when prone and wearing a vest, allowing the player to move faster while prone and wearing a vest or when other move speed modifying effects are in place. While this looks hilarious, it is still an issue that I would love to see resolved.
You can use ladder while prone :d
NPCs randomly morph in and out of prone causing very bizarre movements.
As for the players, I see no problem. Main problem is the integration of NPCs ability.
My suggestion is to create a cvar that allows one to toggle it.
Players can prone Y/N "prone_allow_player 0/1"
NPCs can prone Y/N "prone_allow_npc 0/1"
something like that would be dandy.
I get this same thing. I wonder why.
