I highly recommend the mod maker to dramatically scale back the spawn rate and locations for them or alter them in some fashion as to not be even remotely as problematic as they are.
I looked at the command they used on this page: http://arksurvivalevolved.gamewalkthrough-universe.com/dedicatedservers/customizationtools/dinospawnconfigurationtool/Default.aspx, then tried adjusting it for this dino. I searched the mod folder and found the assets associated with lagamite (labeled magnemite in the files), and the one in the command below made the most sense.
Like I said, I may have been lucky the past couple hours and just not run into one but it's worth a shot. Just place the line below into your "game.ini" file located at "Shootergame/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor" for singleplayer or "Shootergame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer" for a windows server installation.
NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="DinoEntry_magnamite",ToClassName="")
If your file is empty (by default it is), you'll need to put this line at the top:
[/script/shootergame.shootergamemode]
********When you start up your game you will have to use the console command to kill all wild dinos to get rid of any lagamites that were already spawned into your world.**********
If this change doesn't work, maybe replacing "DinoEntry_magnemite" with the name of one of the other assets in that folder will. It's located at "Shootergame/Content/Mods/77161757/geodude/pokemon/magnemite".
