HOW TO INCREASE BATTLE SIZE (VERY SIMPLE WAY)
so to change the battle size (how many troops are on the field in a battle) just go to documents, then go to mount and blade warband, then open the file called rgl_config. once in there scroll pretty much to the bottom and look for "BATTLE_SIZE" 1.000 is the default. change it to something like 3 or 4. (just delete the 1 and add a number) i wouldnt go any higher than that cause it could cause running issues with WB lagging or what ever. if 3 is running good and wanna try going bigger, just go back and try 4. if its too much then go with a lower number. im running it at 4 right now and it hickups sometimes but eh, its fine.

very very very simple way to do this. no need to download anything or lengthy tutorials. just a push of a few buttons.

Yea but it doesn't work. I tried and tried. And doing what is said at the top works 100%

The battle size slider only goes to 150. Unless FilthFace's way of doing this doesn't go past that (I've never personally done this) then I see a reason why he's posting this.

you can make it as high as you want to, 150-9999999 or what ever, the thing is is that if you put a, lets say 4.0 instead of a 1.0 that it had it will increase it i think 4 times that, or more, i wouldnt go higher than 5.0. but try it out with 1-5. and you can always change it back, if you dont really understand what im talking about ill make a video showing how it works if that is really needed.

How can you confirm it works after setting it without getting into a gigantic battle? (still have only 90 men in my group atm)

when you open up the config. file using notepad and change 1 to lets say 3. save, exit out of notepad. open the game up, get into your game, go into options, and you will see that the battle size slider that usually says 150 maxed out, will say something higher than 150. thats how you confirm.
