Different Faction Troops?
As Byzantine Emperor I tried to recruit troops froma village I took from the Mongols but instead of Greek soldiers I got Turkish ones. Is there no way to change the culture of the soldiers you recruit from conquered lands? Or is this just the lance system

No way to change culture of the soldiers from the conquered lands , recruitment system doesnt matter at all.
