Saving as scenario
I'm on a mac, and of course the tools for creating scenarios are unavailable. That's always been my favorite part of Civ, which is almost impetus alone to switch back to PC. Nonetheless, if I spend hours creating a period map, say, height of the Spanish empire, is there no way at all to save the game in a way that I can go back and replay it as another civ? Or am I stuck doing all the work of balancing the game to produce a historical outcome just to be confined to only playing as whatever civ I started the game as?

If there is a mod or any way at all I can make my own replayable scenarios I would be incredibly grateful.

Mac here too.
I believe you could switch civs through the In Game Editor (Why are we in the IGE thread by the way)? Never tried it myself more than pressing some button and suddenly switching to Julius Ceasar.

Thanks for the reply. I actually responded back in May but apparently the internet connection was jacked. I was hoping IGE contained a feature I was unaware of, or that perhaps the author knew how to do it. Unfortunately, it seems that to really make a scenario from the ground up, that is replayable etc, you need the SDK, which is only available for Windows. I was able to partition my Mac, install windows on the partition, and then switch from using civ on the OSX to Windows, and get the downloadable content that way. Seems to be working well, but modding is quite advanced for me and it's not nearly as simple and intuitive as the Civ IV World Builder was! But, the possibilities with the new setup are so much greater, and the mods already existing so complex, that I'm looking forward to getting the hang of it.

Also want to add, just for the record, what an incredible mod IGE is. Donquiche is a badass.
