Subscribed to mod and it appeared in the mod menu without any trouble. Checked the green box and ran it solo for a new single player game. IGE didn't load in game and cntrl+i didn't have any effect. I'm running on a 2018 macbook pro with IGE v. 39.

Before starting game it loads in the single player menu beneath the "Mods in use:" platform. Not sure what the issue might be.
