can you make your mod kind of like S+ in the fact that when you unlock stuff, non-tribe members can use them as well. and when others walk thru your stuff, it would auto close behind them if the option is clicked. also, make the levers public and private.

im not a modder so i dont know how it works, but i mean s+ already exists so i would assume you could just kind of copy and paste some coding and what not to your current doors?


was also hoping for the option for the Levers to work with the Secret Walls and Hatches and regular doors? Maybe also add some secret floors as well for traps? can we make this possible? was trying to make a maze with death traps and stuff... but didnt work out too well because we didnt have any of these options :(

May not be very helpful, and I apologize if it isn't. I very recently learned that mods for this don't work the same way I thought they would (like Skyrim for instance) Meaning Exile wouldn't be able to copy and paste anything from another mod without first having access to the source files of said mod. I spent a good chunk of time installing the dev kit thinking I'd be able to open a mod I like just to see how the pieces were made, and maybe make a few tweaks for my own personal taste, (not for uploading to the workshop, just for me) but the mods you and I download from the workshop are the "baked" or compiled files and you can't do anything with them in the dev kit.

With that said, Exile has some pretty awesome things going on with this mod in its current state, so I have no doubt he'd be able to implement what you're looking for (I have no idea if any of it is possible. Like you, I'm no modder) I'm sure he has a TON of requests to sort through already as he just came back to the mod.

Again, sorry if my post was useless. I'm just trying to help. :)

nahh, makes complete sense. i completely understand, i was just putting this idea out there, hopeing that some people would see it and agree and hopefully catch the attention of Exile himself.

Like i said, I play PvE and i was trying to make this type of Death Maze for the community... and i think these features would fit really well with the mod.

Hopefully Exile has some cool updates for us in the future.

It should be something that is easy enough to add in without having to copy from other mods. I would love this feature for similar reasons.
