How to get 4 rounded ceilings centered around / on-top-of a pillar?
Greetings All !

I'm trying to make a "crow's nest" on a ship. So I've got a mast made of wooden pillars going straight up.

Instead of just putting a standard square wood ceiling at the top, I thought it'd be cool if I made a ROUNDED one and built a sort of crow's nest up there. (Admittedly, I'm not sure what to do about half-sized rounded walls, but I figured I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.)

The trouble is, if I take a rounded keep foundation and try to apply it to the top of a pillar, it centers on it... when, really, I need the CORNER of it to snap to it. I tried positioning another pillar nearby (by placing another ceiling off of the one I was standing on), but the pillar just snaps at the center of that ceiling... when, ideally, I 'd probably need it to snap at a corner.

Is there any way to do what I'm trying to do?

Maybe try placing a scaffolding celing peice? then see if they will allow the other peices to snap to it the way you want them to?

and I believe there is rounded hand railings that you could probably use in place of half walls.

Shy, yep, that was the trick: The CKF ceilings apparently will snap at some petty unsual places when you snap them to existing ARK ceilings. I put one down and it more or less went half-way out length-wise and half way out width-wise, at the same time. This meant that when I placed a pillar on it, I could snap it to the CORNER of the pre-existing ARK ceiling.

Then I just connected the four rounded CKF ceilings off of that pillar, which means the 4 CKF rounded ceilings ended up with my original mast pillar right in the center of them all, just like I wanted.

Now, I was worried that if I removed the pillar and then the original CKF ceiling, the 4 CKF pieces would come tumbling down. But that was not the case !!
