Help cant place anything!
We've just started a new server. Previously we have had this mod working with the volcano map, but for some reason we can not place anything anywhere. We spawned in a foundation and a masonry table to test and it shows up green but wont place. We did the troubleshooting steps of removing the folder from both the server and our personal folders and reinstalled them and still can not place them! I also added the mod id to the ini file with active mods line and still no luck, any suggestions would be appreciated!

This is known as a mod mismatch. It can happen if an interruption happens during download a few files end up going missing. Mods do not get checked by steam the same way game files do, so if a download or install interruption happens on a mod, strange things can happen such as this depending on what files are missing or altered. If you follow this easy guide to refreshing the mod files it will fix the issue :)

ok we just tested it works fine with sp so i shall go back and retry the delete folder and re-download the mod server side

We have streamline server, its not auto updated so we have to manually update from steam

after many mods added/removed and tested, it seems this mod doesnt want to work with the combination of mods we had. Removing better lights and ark advanced 10 we now have it working with our other 11 mods. i guess one of those were causing an issue

Sorry for the late reply, when users start new threads such as this, it does not automatically subscribe me to the thread so I don't get notifications for it, I am now subbed to this thread.

If the problem is only happening when you have other mods loaded, it could be caused by a mismatch in another mod that is above this mod in the load order. Try using the same guide but for all the mods on the server. Mismatches can happen to any Ark mod and can have a knock-on effect.

If the mismatch is in another mod it could be having an impact on any mods loaded after it in the load list. :)

This mod is stackable with other stackable mods, so another thing to check as well, would be to make sure the other mods you are using are also clean stackable mods :)

nah i think the issue might have been the other mods, we have decided not to use the better lights and ark advanced 10 for now.

we have this in 3rd place and the only things above this is annunaki which obviously needs spot 1 and the volcano map in 2. So its not anything loaded before it.

the minute we added the other 2 at the end the problem occured again hence we decided to leave them off for now. We really just wanna play right now! we can look at these at a later date
