A very weird issue with this mod and Tabula Rasa
This issue is weird and very specific. I also mentioned this issue with the developer of Tabula Rasa. I hope between all three of us we can figure out why this is even happening. ok here's the issue.

This has to deal with teleporting wyverns that are no where near the teleporter.. One of the wyverns is an alpha wyvern from tabula rasa and the other is a Dodo Wyvern. They are sitting at the back part of my base. The teleporter in question is down at the foot of a cliff, between my base and someone elses. If i teleport from that pad to our egg farm. One or both of these wyverns teleports with me. They are not even in view of the teleporter. Probably 50 to 100 foundations away. And yet they teleport with me, still the same distance away.

The only other animals that are teleported are the ones in the field of the pad. Let me be clear, the two wyverns that are being teleported are NO WHERE near the pad. Not even remotely near the bubble. and they teleport if the teleporter is active. They are also not on follow for me or either of the animals. Im afraid to use the teleporters now as we have one inside of skull island and they would teleport with me and into the lava. im not sure if the issue is with this mod or tabula rasa that's why i mentioned it to both you and the tabula rasa mod author.

This has been an issue for a good long while. The author doesn't seem inclined to investigate despite multiple reports and offers made to help.

Ahh I didn't know that. Is there a distance from the teleporters that is safe to keep the wyverns that will prevent this from happening? or is it just better to not tame them?

In our experience it's basically view distance. With tabula rasa it seems to impact dodowyverns, alpha wyverns, and manticores. We more or less gave up using the teleporters as a result once it started resulting in losing tames underground.

eww. We switched to Teleporters from Stargates because of all the extra world stuff that author started adding to the mod. We may be switching back because this is driving my players nuts. Thanks for the info. I appreciate the honesty.

Perhaps give it another try when I get the latest version uploaded in a bit?

Also just because I haven't fixed it doesn't mean that I'm inclined to do so. I have lots of other stuff to do as well. Not to mention that this problem seems to only affect creatures that are modded from alphas, bosses etc. All my modded creatures work fine.

I will give it a try. I actually went to Pegi first because it was only her modded dinos having the issue, so I thought it HAS to be that mod. They couldn't figure out why and I just got tired of having many players moaning about how they teleported to the dead island or into a cave and their (insert boss dino here) got teleported too and died. I personally like the teleporters better. No extra world gen (that gets you stuck behind the world border *coughstargatescough*) and when i tame something far from home I can teleport it back and keep on exploring. So Yes I will indeed give it another shot.

I also understand you have a life, I just pulled it for my sanity as a server moderator. Although a little 'hey haven't forgot about this mod but life is happening at my face with a chainsaw right now' would be nice, just to know you haven't abandoned it.
