Cultists are a slightly less squishy infantry for Chaos. They tend to fare better than Marauders in general. The Disciples of the Red Redemption are an even beefier unit based on the cultists.
Ruglud's Armoured Orcs are basically slightly better Orc Boyz with higher armor.
The Free Company with Great Weapons provide a decent mid-tier infantry unit but with sub-standard defense and a vulnerability to missiles.
The Knights of the Bull are heavy melee cavalry that can get stuck in and last a while. Unlike most cav, they use maces and shields instead of lances.
Buccaneers are a light infantry who pack a lot of offensive power. By dual-wielding, they strike twice as fast as normal swordsmen but have poor defense.
Karlsson's Cavalry are also a good melee cavalry choice, but their armor is lacking compared to other Empire cavalry. They still have better melee stats than knights.
Bugman's Rangers are basically a really beefed up quareller unit. Not only do they have crossbows, but they can stand up in melee fights, making them a very tough nut to crack.
Dwarf Warriors with Halberds are just a Dwarf anti-cavalry unit that finally levels the playing field for them somewhat.
Prince Ulther's Dragon Company is an elite RoR. These guys are some damn tough infantry. You can recruit them at a tavern, of course.
